StoryFest 2009 was a smashing success, with over 600 students and their family members attending to see best-selling author Rick Riordan, as well as author Xavier Garza, members of the San Antonio Storytellers Association, and much more!

Mission: The Friends of NISD Libraries promotes & supports the vital role of the school library in the educational experience.

Goals & Objectives:

  • Educate the community about library services that impact reading, critical thinking, and lifelong learning essential to a democratic society.
  • Support activities of the NISD libraries.
  • Advocate for school libraries at all levels (campus, district, city, state, nation).
